46th Annual
October 26 & 27, 2019

Old Farmer's Day is a re-enactment of the way our forefathers lived, worked and enjoyed life.

Agriculture and farming today is largely mechanized and very scientific, but these developments would not have been possible without the wisdom and hard work of old farmers. Old Farmer's Day is celebrated as a throwback to sustainable farming and farming practices of the old days. The month of October was chosen for this holiday since, traditionally during this time, the harvest would be mostly complete and farmers could take a break from their labors to enjoy this celebration. It is only fitting we continue this tradition!

The 46th Annual Old Farmer's Day is dedicated to our dear friend, Gary Wagner!

For many years, Gary has been an avid supporter of Old Farmer's Day. Over the years he has provided mules for demonstrations, partidipated in the Horse and Mule Pull, and above all, been a fantastic friend. Gary passed away suddenly on July 10, 2019, and even though he is no longer with us, we know gary will be riding his horse through our gates on Friday evening of Old Farmer's Day weekend.
